I like to listen to podcasts and do that almost every day. I consider it a very important medium, since it's the most free form of media available today. Unlike traditional broadcasting, podcasts allow creators to speak directly to their audience without corporate interference or advertising pressure dictating content.
A podcast is fundamentally different from a YouTube channel or a bunch of audio recordings online. It's a serialized audio program that people can subscribe to and receive automatically. The subscription model creates a unique relationship between creator and listener, fostering deeper engagement and allowing for more nuanced, long-form discussions that wouldn't work in other formats.
